Subsidies in Tyrol

The province of Tyrol supports private individuals, companies and municipalities in the purchase of climate-friendly heating systems. An annuity grant (max. 35 per cent) or a one-time subsidy (max. 25 per cent) is possible. The conversion of an existing fossil fuel heating systems to a pellet, wood chip and firewood boiler and also air source heat pumps is also being promoted with an additional bonus of EUR 3,000.

Fully automatic pellet boilers and wood chip boilers and also firewood boilers have to be combined with an accumulator tank of at least 1,000 litres. 

Subsidy procedure

Submit the application for subsidy

Use the forms provided for the application for subsidy. You can also submit them electronically. Applicants receive the funding commitment with the written confirmation that you receive from the province following a positive review process. 

Deadlines for subsidies

The application must be submitted to the competent regional administrative authorities no later than 18 months after completing the modifications or the financial reporting.
