Water switch

Method of operation
Thanks to patented temperature control, the fresh water unit guarantees permanently fresh and hot water of the required volume at a constant temperature, without waiting.
Functional description
If a tap is opened in the house, the water switch activates the feed pump. This transports the hot buffer tank water to the heat exchanger where the cold water is heated to the set hot water temperature. Mixing via the mixer circuit ensures that the hot water exits the system at a constant temperature. This setup also ensures that only as much hot water is removed from the buffer tank as is needed and that the return to the buffer tank is as cold as possible.
Once the amount of hot water needed is covered (tap is closed again), the feed pump is switched off again. Hot water is therefore provided to suit demand and any losses resulting from down-time of a hot water storage tank or the formation of legionella bacteria in the tank are not possible.
