PuroWIN - The wood chip heating revolution
February 15, 2016 - Windhager sets new standards in wood chip heating with the PuroWIN. Premiere 2016 - The PuroWIN is unveiled at the Bauen & Energie trade fair in Vienna.
The highlight of Windhager's PuroWIN is its zero-emission technology. The boiler burns so cleanly that the dust levels can hardly even be measured. The PuroWIN is also the world's first wood chip boiler that can also draw in the fuel as standard – handling lengths of up to 25 metres and heights of up to 7 metres.
Embers retained automatically
Because the boiler is fully sealed, the ember bed is retained for up to four days without any fuel or air being added. During this time, it automatically reheats itself, cutting ignition energy by up to 90 percent. Instead of a grate, the PuroWIN has two ash removal plates. As a result, the boiler isn't affected by foreign bodies and continuous heating without any interruptions is possible. The system for removing and transporting wood chip is very robust, has a high degree of operational safety and saves energy. On average, the boiler needs just 120 W to clear the complete storage room.
The new PuroWIN is available from mid 2016 in five capacities.
