Windhager – globally recognized as a technological leader with the cleanest biomass combustion system – and Heliotherm, manufacturer of the quietest and most efficient heat pump technology (SCOP 6+), are joining forces in a groundbreaking strategic alliance.
The goal of this partnership is to unite the strengths of two Austrian innovation leaders in the heating industry. Both companies manufacture their high-quality products entirely in Austrian facilities and have stood for the combination of ecology and economy for decades – for the benefit of their customers, partners, and our planet. Under the slogan “FOR YOU AND PLANET BLUE,” Windhager and Heliotherm will offer tailor-made heating and energy solutions worldwide for all customer segments – from private households to hospitality, industry, and municipalities. Energy sources such as air, ground, water, and waste heat, as well as their intelligent combinations, will be used. The alliance partners rely on established standards such as zero-emission combustion and top energy efficiency with a SCOP of 6+. All products are designed for maximum longevity. Customers and partners also benefit from perfect service – from planning and installation to ongoing support.
The collaboration particularly strengthens the heat pump segment: technology, research, development, and production are being dynamically expanded at the Langkampfen site in Tyrol. Sales and service are now also handled by Windhager – Best Heating Technology – and its subsidiaries across Europe. The rapidly growing network of Windhager heating professionals is excited about the whisper-quiet, high-performance heat pumps with a power range from 3 kW to 1 MW in cascade configuration – 100% Made in Austria – and about a shared future that combines innovation and sustainability. These Austrian quality products will be marketed worldwide under the brand Windhager – Made by Heliotherm.
