Subsidies in Upper Austria

The province of Upper Austria is providing financial support to private individuals, companies and municipalities for the use of renewable energy sources. If an existing fossil boiler that is at least 10 years old is replaced with an environmentally friendly pellet heating system, a wood chip boiler, a split log boiler or an air/water heat pump, you will receive attractive provincial subsidies. Oil tank disposal is supported by a subsidy of EUR 1,000 for private individuals. In Upper Austria, subsidies are also available for the installation of a renewable heating system in new buildings.

Your path to provincial subsidies in Upper Austria

Implement project, then submit the application for subsidy!

The application for subsidy must be submitted at the latest 18 months (for a heat pump: 6 months) after invoicing. The invoice must be issued by 30 June 2022 at the latest, and the application can be submitted until 31 August 2022 at the latest.
